Exchange of Euro for Pesetas Sent from Abroad
(Only for residents abroad)
Instructions:
Residents abroad with no access to a Banco de España branch can obtain euros in exchange for pesetas notes in the following manner:
Exchangeable pesetas notes can be sent by registered mail to the following Banco de España address:

In all cases a duly completed form with your data must be enclosed.
All the documents are in PDF format 
Coins may not be included in remittances by mail.
Remittancse should not contain non-exchangeable notes
Banco de España shall transfer an equivalent amount in euro to the designated account.
Some commercial banks are offering exchange services which are neither compulsory nor free of charge.
