Reproduction Rules of euro coins
To reproduce any coin, the pertinent authorisation must be requested from the Directorate-General of the Treasury and Financial Policy. These reproductions must conform to the rules set forth in the Spanish
Official State Gazette of 31 December 2002

Article 97 of Law 53/2002 of 30 December 2002 on Fiscal, Administrative and Social Measures, amending Articles 9 and 10 of Law 10/1975 of 12 May on Regulation of Metallic Currency.
Those rules define as an administrative offence:
- Reproduction with advertising or commercial purposes of coins which have been, are or may be legal tender, without permission of the Directorate General of the Treasury and Financial Policy.
- Utilization in medals, medallions or any coinlike object of the euro symbols described in the afore mentioned law.
